Dear Commonwealth’s Attorney for Loudoun County

I am a registered Virginia voter that voted in the 2020 Presidential election in Virginia.

On January 5th, 2020, Virginia State Delegates Dave LaRock, Mark Cole, and Ronnie Campbell sent a letter, under the color of law, to Vice President Pence requesting that he “nullify the Certificate of Ascertainment of Presidential Electors issued by the governor of our state”.  The letter to Vice President Pence, reported by the media* and available on social media, illustrates that the three Delegates planned to disenfranchise millions of individual Virginia voters. Over 2.4 million Virginians, having exercised their individual right to vote, selected a candidate not to the liking of the Delegates. As such, the three Delegates sought to prevent over 2.4 million votes from individual Virginians from counting by asking Vice President Pence to nullify Virginia’s Presidential Electors.

Code of Virginia

Title 24.2. Elections, Chapter 10. Election Offenses Generally; Penalties

§ 24.2-1015. Conspiracy against rights of citizens under this title

If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, intimidate, prevent, or hinder any citizen of this Commonwealth in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the provisions of this title, or because of his having so exercised such right, they shall be guilty of a Class 5 felony.

§ 24.2-1019. Complaints and allegations concerning election law offenses.

Any complaint or allegation concerning unlawful conduct under this title shall be filed with the attorney for the Commonwealth of the county or city in which the alleged violation occurred.

Based on the above, I would like to submit a complaint regarding the actions of Delegate Dave LaRock, Delegate Mark Cole, and Delegate Ronnie Campbell. Having exercised my right to vote for the Presidential candidate of my choice, these three Virginia Delegates collectively sought to prevent my vote in the 2020 Presidential Election from counting.

Sincerely,

Resident of ___________________   County, Virginia.
